Item Title
C-6 Additions to List of Medical Facilities authorized to conduct drug tests required for certain groups of employees

Issue/Rationale
School Board Policy and Florida Statutes require drug tests for certain employees and job candidates. Facilities used in administering drug testing of employees and the fees charged for those services must be approved by the School Board. The request to submit a quote to conduct district drug/alcohol screenings was sent to the local facililty used by the state authorized agency to service as collection sites for these services.

Recommended Action
Allow the Director of Purchasing to approve new providers as they become available.

Financial Impact

The charges listed are off the state bid list and are recommended.

HRS DP Five Drug Screening with MRO services and GCMS:

Alcohol Breath Test (Non DOT):

$10.00 each

Alcohol Breath Test (DOT):

$21.25 each
